Bianchi

Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson has appointed Mario Bianchi as its new managing principal, replacing Karl Weiss. Bianchi chaired the firm's litigation practice group from 2009 through 2013. Lasher Holzapfel was founded 47 years ago in Seattle.

Arcimoto

Arcimoto, makers of electric vehicles for everyday commuters and fleets, has named Galileo Russell to its board of directors. Russell is the founder and CEO of HyperChange, a startup financial media company with more than 130,000 YouTube subscribers. He co-founded the software-as-a-service financial visualization platform HyperCharts and is the founder of the venture capital firm HyperGuap. Every Arcimoto vehicle is built at its manufacturing plant in Eugene, Oregon.

Covestic

Milestone Technologies, a Silicon Valley based global IT managed services firm, announced the acquisition of Covestic, a ServiceNow Elite Partner and IT Managed Services firm, based in Kirkland. The acquisition extends Milestone's footprint to the Pacific Northwest. Covestic brings fifteen years of experience in IT Service Management and IT Operations across many industries. Milestone Technologies has been providing services since 1997, and currently operates in 36 different countries.

Gustine

General contractor Hensel Phelps promoted Shannon Gustine to vice president and district manager, and appointed Scott Bills as director of operations of the Pacific Northwest Region. Gustine maintains oversight of all operations in the Pacific Northwest and now sits on the company's board. Bills has worked for Hensel Phelps for the last 20 years, most recently providing executive oversight on complex progressive design-build projects. Hensel Phelps' local office, in Bellevue, is working on projects for the Port of Seattle, Sound Transit, University of Washington and Kaiser Permanente.

Goodfellow Bros.

Blaine

Scott Blaine is the new president of Goodfellow Bros., a heavy-civil construction company with corporate offices in Wenatchee and Hawaii. At Goodfellow, Blaine was CFO for four years and senior vice president for six years prior to that. In his new role, Blaine will continue to evolve the company's business strategy, look for new growth and manage daily operations. He is based in Wenatchee. Goodfellow also has offices in Oregon and California.

Contract Hardware

Longstanding commercial door and hardware distributors Contract Hardware and Evergreen Construction Specialties merged into a new company called Kinship Group, headquartered in Auburn. Kinship serves the commercial construction industry with specification writing and consulting, new construction project management, end-user support and direct sales, installation, keying, pre-installation and account management. The new company covers the Pacific Northwest, Mountain West and Alaska, with accounts across North America. It has branches in Everett and Midway, Utah.

General contractor Skanska launched its Vendor Diversity Portal, giving small and diverse firms access to local and national procurement opportunities. The portal can be found at https://tinyurl.com/SkanskaVDP.

Liberty Bank

Liberty Bank has named Andy Leikin as its new chief credit officer, overseeing credit operations at the bank's locations in Poulsbo and Bellevue. Leikin has served in multiple roles, including bank vice president, senior vice president, credit administrator and relationship/portfolio manager with HomeStreet Bank, Fortune Bank, First Sound Bank, and PNC Bank.

Mobile Tech

Hillsboro, Oregon-based Mobile Tech (MTI), a provider of retail security, smart retail and global services, announced the promotion of Mary Jesse to serve on MTI's Board of Directors and as the company's chief executive officer. Jesse is the first woman to serve on the company's Board of Directors, and has been chief operations officer since February 2020.

Alpine Immune Sciences

Alpine Immune Sciences, a clinical-stage immunotherapy company focused on developing treatments for cancer and autoimmune/inflammatory diseases, announced the appointment of Pamela Holland, Ph.D., as senior vice president, research. Holland is an experienced cancer biologist, and most recently served as vice president, cancer biology at Surface Oncology. In addition, Remy Durand, Ph.D., currently senior vice president of business development and corporate strategy, has been promoted to chief business officer.

Stoel Rives

Stoel Rives announced nine of its attorneys were promoted to the partnership effective January 1, 2021, including three in the firm's Seattle office. The new partners in Seattle are Rachel Groshong, Sallie Lin and Christopher Wall. Groshong serves as chair of the firm's transportation subgroup of the consumer products, manufacturing, and transportation industry group. Lin is an attorney in the real estate group advising clients on a wide range of matters, including financing, leasing, acquisitions, and partnerships. Wall manages all aspects of employment litigation, with a focus on class actions, wage cases, and pay equity matters. Stoel Rives operates in seven states and the District of Columbia.
