PACCAR

PACCAR announced a five-year supply agreement for battery power systems with Romeo Power, a battery technology company headquartered in Los Angeles. PACCAR will purchase Romeo Power's battery packs and battery management software for heavy-duty battery electric Peterbilt 579EV vehicles and Peterbilt 520EV refuse trucks in North America. PACCAR has become a minority shareholder in Romeo Power as part of the alliance. Production of Peterbilt zero emissions trucks featuring Romeo Power's battery packs is expected to launch in the second half of 2021.

doxo

Seattle-based doxo, a web and mobile bill pay service, was recognized as one of Comparably's 2021 Best Places to Work in Seattle. Comparably, a compensation, culture and career monitoring website, compiled its rankings from anonymous sentiment ratings provided by employees. The rankings are determined based on a series of questions that span 20 core culture categories, including work-life balance, the leadership and team, and overall workplace environment. In addition, doxo has expanded its doxoInsights program, which provides a look into household financial health and spending activity.

Contour Fence

Contour Fence, a residential and commercial fencing company, has been acquired by business partners Stacy Eakman and Paulo Albano. The deal closed on February 26, 2021, with Eakman and Albano acquiring Contour Fence for $1,250,000. The partners plan to grow the company, with goals to franchise it and expand its service reach beyond Washington. Albano is originally from Brazil but immigrated to the United States in 2018. Eakman is CEO of Eakman Construction, a custom home building company serving Kirkland, Bellevue and the Greater Seattle Area. Contour Fence, established in 1984, is located in Woodinville.

Convoy

Digital freight network Convoy has been named a 2021 BloombergNEF Pioneer, an annual award announced by Bloomberg recognizing 12 companies advancing a low-carbon economy. Convoy moves thousands of truckloads around the country each day through its optimized, connected network of carriers, using technology and data to solve problems of waste and inefficiency in the trucking industry. Now in its 12th year, BloombergNEF Pioneers recognizes the most impactful and original technological innovations with the potential to accelerate global decarbonization. Winners were selected by a panel of experts from a pool of more than 250 applicants from across the world.

Clearwater Analytics

Clearwater Analytics named Eric Lapham as senior vice president of investment management. In this role, Lapham will lead the company's business development strategy for the growing investment management market. Lapham joins Clearwater from State Street Bank where he was managing director of global strategic accounts and global head of sales for State Street Global Exchange. Lapham has over 30 years of experience in fintech and software and services sales, including over 20 years in the buy-side financial services industry with CRD, SSGX, and BISAM. Clearwater Analytics, headquartered in Boise, is a global SaaS solution for automated investment data aggregation, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting.

Davis Wright

The partnership of Davis Wright Tremaine voted to confirm Scott MacCormack as the new managing partner and elected four new members to its Executive Committee, which will continue to be chaired by Sarah Tune. MacCormack will assume the managing partner position this summer. The new Executive Committee members begin their terms immediately. MacCormack, who is based in Seattle, joined the firm in 2008. He is a partner in the business and tax practice, where he focuses on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, project development, and finance for medium to large enterprises. Prior to joining Davis Wright, MacCormack was a shareholder at Heller Ehrman. The new members elected to the Executive Committee are Jaime Drozd Allen (Seattle), Camilo Echavarria (Los Angeles), Wendy Kearns (Seattle) and Jean Tom (San Francisco). Davis Wright Tremaine is a national law firm representing clients based throughout the United States and around the world.

Pacific Program Management

Pacific Program Management (PPM) announced that Siobhan Harold Fink has joined the senior leadership team to lead the company's Workspace Consulting service line. In this position, she will spearhead a national rollout and lead the growth of PPM's Workspace Consulting services, launched in 2020 to address the business objectives and strategic goals of companies reimagining their workplace. PPM aims to accelerate its ability to deliver a holistic approach to commercial real estate program management by integrating strategy across all of its service areas, including Capital Project Management, and Transition and Relocation Management. Based out of PPM's New York City office, Harold Fink has more than 20 years of global real estate strategy expertise, including positions at Deloitt and Ernst & Young. PPM is a commercial real estate program and project management firm headquartered in Seattle with locations across the country.

Marchex

Seattle-base Marchex, a conversational analytics and solutions company, promoted Leila Kirske to chief financial officer. Kirske will lead Marchex's finance and administrative organizations. Michael Arends, who previously served as CFO, will continue in his role as Co-CEO. Prior to serving as senior vice president of finance and administration at Marchex, Kirske most recently was the CFO at 98point.6, an on-demand digital primary care service. Kirske has served as a finance leader for more than 25 years, including as the CFO for other global technology companies such as Tune, a cloud-based SaaS affiliate marketing platform and Bsquare, a software provider for intelligent devices and systems. Kirske began her career in audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
