Abbey Lincoln Court

Abbey Lincoln Court offers 68 units of workforce housing and two live-work units in Seattle’s Central District, at 2010 S. Jackson St.

The 50,726-square-foot project was completed in 2016. Units in the six-story building include studios, apartments with up to three bedrooms, and townhouses. It shares a common courtyard with the adjacent Ernestine Anderson Place, which serves low-income seniors.

Abbey Lincoln Court is located close to Washington Middle School, Seattle Vocational Institute, transit, retail shopping, employment, and cultural venues in the Central Area.

It was built to meet the Washington State Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard. Energy efficient features include water-conserving fixtures and an enhanced building envelope design. A rooftop deck offers views of Mount Rainier.

It was named in honor of Abbey Lincoln, an American jazz vocalist, songwriter, actress and civil rights activist.
