Redevelopment of Port Quendall, the highly-coveted but polluted site on Renton's Lake Washington shoreline, has hit a fresh snag that threatens to drown the 68-acre project.

The owner of about a third of the site, the Cugini family, hasn't joined a development partnership led by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's real estate executives. Nor have Allen's representatives reached a price the Cuginis find acceptable to sell their 23 acres.
