Trader Joe's signs Madison St. lease

  • The trendy food store will be located in a new five-story building with 50 market-rate apartments and underground parking.

    Trader Joe's is headed for the junction of Capitol Hill and the Central District.

    The specialty retailer signed a lease for ground-floor retail in a mixed-use project that businessman Chester Dorsey plans to build on Madison at 17th Street, according to the project's architect, Ed Linardic.
