Housing Resources Group

Three local business people joined the board of the Seattle-based, non-profit Housing Resources Group: Shane Rock, a systems engineer at RealImpact, a service of RealNetworks; Marilyn Sherron, director of the employment section in the Seattle City Attorney’s Office; and Richard Stevenson, chief operating officer of the Seattle development company Clise Properties. HRG was formed in 1980 under the leadership of the Downtown Seattle Association to provide affordable housing. HRG manages 1,437 apartments in 25 projects and is developing and building 170 more apartment units, along with assisting other non-profit organizations on 343 additional apartments. Rock brings community development, shelter program management, grant writing, network systems and streaming media skills to the board. Sherron contributes expertise in employment law, management and mediation. Stevenson provides skills in development and property management.
