Lynn Claudon left Weyerhaeuser Co. after 10 years there, the last two as director of land use, to form her own land use consulting company. She named it Lynn Claudon Consulting and is starting with working out of her Auburn home. In her first eight years at Weyerhaeuser, Claudon worked as a lobbyist. Her role as land use director focused almost exclusively on entitling phase two of the Snoqualmie Ridge master-planned community, which involves adding some 2,000 new homes to the huge project. The entitlement is complete and the job switches to lot development, something that didn't interest Claudon, she said, so she made the jump. Clients? "Nothing I can talk about yet," she said.
