A Seattle City Council committee will take public comments Monday, Oct. 29, about modifying city code to allow adding one apartment to existing apartment buildings, regardless of density.
"This provision will only apply to structures that can accommodate an additional residential unit without expanding the existing building envelope," said Landlord/Tenant and Land Use Committee Chairwoman Judy Nicastro. The public hearing will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber. For information, contact Jill Berkey in Nicastro's office at (206) 684-8806.
