Laura Domoto of Seneca Real Estate Group will review an array of area public and private projects her firm is guiding at the Commercial Real Estate Women's Nov. 8 lunch meeting. Domoto will talk about the temporary central library in the downtown Seattle convention center expansion, the planned new library, the Getty Images building in Fremont, the Star Building, PATH's new structure, work at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Safeco Field, the new aquarium and Children's Hospital's expansion. Later in November, Crew will hear from Irene Leonard King, a professional development coach, on "what it takes and what holds us back from promoting ourselves." King worked as a real estate and corporate attorney in Canada and then the U.S. from 1979 to 1997, when she switched to coaching lawyers, executives and other professionals. The event will be at noon on Thursday, Nov. 29, in the third floor conference room of the Norton Building in downtown Seattle.
