Lisa S. Verner, AICP has been named director of planning for Snoqualmie Ridge, in charge of directing entitlements for the second phase of the 1,340-acre planned community. She will also manage consulting and budgeting matters, as well as relationships with the city of Snoqualmie and members of the community.
Verner has worked for more than 20 years in the real estate industry, as an owner/user, speculative developer, public planning official and land use consultant. Most recently, she was principal of Commercial Development Solutions, a Seattle-based consulting firm she founded in 1990, which provided project management and entitlement services for clients such as Opus Northwest, Trammell Crow Co., AT&T Wireless, Puget Sound Energy and Port Blakely Communities. Verner has also worked for Metropolitan King County and the city of Bothell.
Verner will report to George Sherwin, senior vice president at Snoqualmie Ridge.
Snoqualmie Ridge is being developed by Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company and managed by its subsidiary Quadrant.
