Tom High was promoted to chief financial officer for John L. Scott Real Estate. He joined the firm less than two years ago as controller "with the position of CFO in mind," said executive vice president Jerry Moon. Moon, who shared the CFO duties with finance vice president Donna de Ford, said the firm conducted an extensive search before it hired High in November 2000. High came from several years at Deloitte and Touche as an audit supervisor and management consultant. He has more than 10 years of financial management experience, John L. Scott said.

Terri Mohr became a sales agent in John L. Scott's North Seattle office. Ian Phares joined as an agent in the firm's Magnolia office.
