Condo owners caucus March 2

Plaintiff attorneys will hold a legal forum for condominium owners on Saturday, March 2, at the Mercer View Community Center on Mercer Island. A national nonprofit association for condo owners named the Community Association Institute is sponsoring the event, which will start at 9 a.m. Lawyers who will speak include Chris Casey, Terry Leahy, James Strichartz, Gary Ackerman of Foster Pepper & Shefelman, Marion Morgentam and Brian McLean of Brady & McLean. Topics will include the state Condominium Act and possible legislative revisions, new federal homeowner association laws, mixed-use condo projects and water damage to condos.
