RE/MAX summarizes 2001 performance

RE/MAX International says its sales associates in Washington handled 15,500 sales of homes in the state last year. The deals totaled $3.1 billion, up 13 percent, the Colorado-based residential brokerage said. The total of 1,023 sales people in 56 offices in the state is up 17 percent from the year before, the firm said.

The firm identified Marge and Ralph Ripley's RE/MAX Northwest Realtors office in Seattle as its top brokerage for last year for Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. RE/MAX Metro Properties in Mountlake Terrace and RE/MAX Central West in Bonney Lake led the region in adding more associates. Lori and Dean Reece of Bellingham are broker-owners of the year. The firm gave Bob Hansen of Ellensburg its Above The Crowd award for his commitment to the real estate industry and his community.
