J. Lennox Scott, third-generation head of Seattle-based John L. Scott Real Estate, is now also J. Lennox Scott, author. Scott and his firm's publicist, Shelley Rossi, have produced a 64-page paperback book about selling houses called "Next Generation Real Estate." The publisher is Dageforde Publishing of Crete, Neb. "It's a trade publication, geared to real estate professionals," Rossi said. Scott says the book covers how to take advantage of the latest technology and aims to "enable agents to double their productivity while maintaining healthy, balanced lives."
Huy Nguyen is a new sales associate in John L. Scott's North Seattle office. The firm said Nguyen is active in the Vietnamese community and is a member of the SSCC Vietnamese Club. Joe Straling and Alexis Hilliard joined the Magnolia office. Straling brings a background in construction and remodeling to his new career. Hilliard has worked in real estate for five years and has a background in home remodeling and design.
Jim Fox and Kevin McCarthy joined the Lynnwood office, while George Riad now works in Lynnwood West.
George Warren is a sales associate in North Bend. Kent North added Susan Glenn and Gail Anderson.
Former chef Michele Lussier joined John L. Scott's Laurelhurst office. Four people joined the Lakeside office in Madison Park: Richard Todd, Renee Starling, Edward Gulberg and David Caverly.
Corey Robinson shifted from selling radio ads to sales associate in John L. Scott's Highlands office. Larry Serrin also started up in the Highlands office.
John L. Scott also opened its 112th office, this one in Cle Elum. Salmon La Sac Realty, operated by 23-year veteran Larry Scholl, is now a John L. Scott affiliate. This is the fifth office the firm has opened in the state since March.
