October 10, 2002
University of Washington president Richard McCormick will talk at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties' next monthly breakfast meeting. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Sixth Avenue in downtown Seattle. McCormick will discuss UW's impact on the area economy, but he'll also address architecture and development. The American Institute of Architects is one of the breakfast organizers, and will tie the presentation to its 2002 Celebrate Architecture activities that begin in November. Call NAIOP for reservations by Friday, Oct. 11, at (206) 382-9121.
