A morning-long workshop on the limited supply of developable land in King County and the shortage of affordable housing in King County is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 11, in downtown Seattle. The Housing Partnership and the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County will hold the event from 8 a.m. to noon in the Union Square ballroom, at Sixth and University. "The buildable lands process has given us a detailed picture of the potential supply of various types of housing in King County," the organizers said. "What the study did not tell us is how that capacity gets turned into homes that people will want to buy or rent. We will compare likely future demand for different types of housing with the capacity to build it." For information, call (425) 453-5123.
