John L. Scott Real Estate says its Western Washington offices recorded their fourth-straight home sales volume record-breaking month in November as low interest rates kept housing activity high despite the recession. "Volume sales were up 45 percent and units increased by almost 15 percent for same office count compared to November 2001," the Seattle-based agency said. "Year-to-date the company has already surpassed 2001's record-breaking volume sales, which means 2002 will be John L. Scott's most successful year on record."
