March 19 meeting on Pioneer Square plan

Downtown Seattle developers William Justen and Greg Smith will tell the Pioneer Square Preservation Board about their recently proposed plan for redeveloping Pioneer Square and areas surrounding it on Wednesday, March 19. The long-range plan envisions building thousands of housing units throughout the area and converting the Port of Seattle's sprawling Terminal 46 from cargo into a dense, urban village of housing, hotels, offices, retail, a park and more. The preservation board scheduled the briefing for 9:45 a.m. in the Arctic Building in downtown Seattle.
