Faith-based approach to home ownership

First AME Church in Seattle will provide a faith-based approach to becoming a home owner at a free workshop scheduled for June 28. The church, the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and Countrywide Home Loans will "show renters how they can afford to buy a home" at the event from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will be held at the church, 1522 14th Ave. Breakfast will be served before the event and child care will be provided.
