Federal Housing 101

Low-income housing advocates and providers will hold a forum on how to use federal housing programs called "Federal Housing 101." The Aug. 14 event will run from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sand Point Community Housing Association, 6940 62nd Ave. N.E., in Seattle. Sponsors say the event is for congressional staff, journalists, low-income housing tenants and advocates. The session will cover how to use federal programs and challenges the programs face.
