Scott Pilara joined Steve Ruggiero's Poulsbo-based First American Properties in marketing power centers and other retail projects around the Northwest and providing retail tenant representation. Pilara previously worked in equity research at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. He holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Projects Pilara will work on include the 215-acre master-planned College Marketplace in north Kitsap County and the new Masin's store in downtown Bellevue. He'll also work on the sale and redevelopment of 24 Emporium department stores throughout the Northwest and the opening of Circuit City and OfficeMax stores around the Puget Sound area.
