KremeWorks USA, the licensed developer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in the Northwest, has named Jeri Knox as its first chief operating officer and managing partner. Knox, who joined KremeWorks in 2001 as a concept partner, will oversee operations in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Alaska. She has more than 24 years' experience in the restaurant industry, beginning her career at Nordstrom restaurants, cafes and espresso bars. Establishing the COO position is the next logical step in light of the company's growth, said KremeWorks President and CEO Gerard Centioli. Knox will oversee the company's expansion in the Northwest and in new markets.
