Port eyes investment in Eastside project

  • Bellevue Mayor Connie Marshall wants the port's help in expanding Meydenbauer Center.

    Bellevue Mayor Connie Marshall asked the Port of Seattle Tuesday to explore investing in the expansion of Meydenbauer Center.

    Also yesterday, port staff members gave commissioners an update on redeveloping the docks at Fishermen's Terminal. The port has earmarked $16 million for the work in its 10-year capital improvement program.
