John L. Scott Real Estate Chairman and CEO J. Lennox Scott says March was the most successful month in the company's 73-year history. Companywide sales figures were unavailable, but in the Puget Sound region, John L. Scott agents closed 1,676 transactions, 12 percent more than the number in March 2003. Scott said a dip in interest rates in the first quarter caused a surge of activity. In other news, the company has some new agents: Elizabeth Brewer and Janice McNeal in the Federal Way office; Clayton Simmons and Jamie McMahon, Kent; Tracee Wik, Renton; Laurence Barratt, Larry Williams and Lauren Leahy, Mercer Island; Mary Short, Magnolia; Elizabeth Wall, Belltown; Donald DeSantis and Stacey Brower, Laurelhurst; and Sophia McDonald, Lakeside.
