John Powers, president and CEO of Enterprise Seattle (formerly known as the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County) will speak at the noon Dec. 9 CREW lunch at the Washington Athletic Club, 1325 Sixth Ave., Seattle. Powers was Spokane's first full-time mayor, serving from 2000-04. Lunch is $29.50 for members with reservations and $45 for nonmembers.
