John Gleason is the new director of property operations for Schnitzer Northwest LLC, a Bellevue-based real estate investment, development and management company. He most recently was a managing director of Colliers International. He'll be responsible for overseeing management and operations of nearly 9 million square feet of office, industrial and special-use property in the Puget Sound and Portland areas. He has 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Among his accomplishments was the acquisition, renovation and releasing of two Los Angeles-area highrises. The properties increase more than $100 million in value in less than two years.
