Common Ground

Inland Empire Residential Resources Executive Director Darryl Reber has won the Common Ground Brick House Award for developing affordable housing for developmentally disabled people. Reber has increased his group's portfolio from one house in Spokane to more than 80 statewide. Under Reber, Inland Empire Residential Resources has built or remodeled more than $4.8 million worth of houses in King County, where it's developing another five homes this year.
