Terry Kohlstrand is the new president of John L. Scott's Affiliate Division, the franchise arm of John L. Scott Real Estate. He is responsible for expanding the company's market share by adding offices in the West. He has 22 years of experience in real estate franchising. He helped grow the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network by more than 100 offices. Most recently he was director of franchising for ReMax of California and Hawaii, where he was responsible for opening 100 new franchises. Of John L. Scott's 130 offices, 89 are independently owned, and 41 are owned and operated by John L. Scott Chairman and CEO J. Lennox Scott.

The John L. Scott Foundation helped raise $750,000 for Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center through the sponsorship of the Warren Moon and Steve Pool Golf Classic last month.

Shelena Patterson has joined the sales team of John L. Scott in University Place.
