Historic Seattle

Christine Palmer is the new preservation advocate for Historic Seattle, a public development authority and charitable foundation that has helped preserve 45 buildings. Palmer has a master's degree in public historical studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Previously, she was a forest historian for the U.S. Forest Service, and city historian for Santa Barbara, Calif.
