CREW Seattle will hold its annual clock-hour seminar on the topic of “Old Places, New Spaces: Breathing New Life into Old Buildings,” Sept. 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the law offices of Preston, Gates and Ellis in IDX Tower, Seattle. Speakers include Quentin Kuhrau of Unico, Ashley Frederick of Lease Crutcher Lewis and Beth Dwyer of GGLO Architects talking about the Cobb Building renovation. A session on environmental risks will be taught by Dana Carlisle of GeoEngineers, Roger Dunaway and Peter Haller of Ater Wynne. Paul Lambros, executive director of Plymouth Housing, will talk about housing for the homeless. Cost is $25 for CREW members and $125 for non-members. Register online at http://www.crewseattle.org.
