Seattle-based Tarragon said it has secured two of the three anchor tenants for Sunrise Village shopping center in Puyallup. L.A. Fitness and unnamed big box retailer will take a third of the 550,000-square-foot center under construction at 157th Avenue East and South Meridian. The retailer intends to start construction in September and open the store in early summer of 2008, Taragon said. The project will center around an internal “street” of shops and a pedestrian plaza filled. The fitness club will have a four-lane lap pool, whirlpool, locker rooms and a gym. Freiheit & Ho Architects of Kirkland designed the center and Tarragon Construction LLC is general contractor. Investco Financial Corp. assembled the land and serves as representative for the owners.
