CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Seattle will meet Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Washington Athletic Club, 1325 Sixth Ave., Seattle. The topic is “Northgate Development: Hear how the neighborhood is being transformed.” Cost is $35 for CREW members; $50 non-members. One speaker is Kevin Wallace of Wallace Properties talking about his company's 507 Northgate, a mixed-use complex of apartments, retail and parking. Opening is set for February of 2009. Brian Lorig of Lorig & Associates will discuss Thornton Place, a six-acre mixed-use development with retail, condos, parking and market-rate apartments. Lorig is the master developer.
