Fourth & Madison

The Fourth & Madison building in Seattle won The Office Building of the Year Award in the 500,000 to one million square foot category. The TOBY award is given by the Building Owners and Managers Association. The building was selected over entries from Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Boston, St. Louis and Toronto. Judging is based on factors such as community impact, energy management systems, emergency evacuation procedures and tenant/employee relations. The building is managed by Hines and owned by TIAA-CREF. Zimmer Gunsul Frasca was the architect.
