NAIOP looks at capital markets

The topic of the Nov. 28 meeting of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties is “Capital markets: Back to Earth.” It will be at the Sheraton Hotel, Seattle, starting at 7 a.m. with registration and networking. The moderator is Dan Ivanoff, managing investment partner at Schnitzer West. Bill Pollard, principal and co-founder of Pacific Real Estate Partners, will talk about institutional property sales and the direction of cap rates. Mike Makar, senior managing director of CBRE Melody, will shed light on the turmoil in capital markets lending and where he sees the markets moving in 2008.
