The monthly program of REAPS (Real Estate Association of Puget Sound) will be on the topic of “Rehabbing Homes: From Junkers to Millions.” The speaker is Robyn Thompson. Thompson has bought and sold more than 250 homes. The event will be Thursday, Jan. 24, 7 to 10 p.m. in Kane Hall, on the University of Washington campus. Reservations are recommended and can be done at http://www.reapsweb.com. The cost is $15 and it is free to REAPS members. A Saturday seminar on the topic will be held at Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland on Saturday, Jan. 26. Register online at http://www.reapsweb.com. Fee for advance reservation is $69 and $49 for REAPS members. Topics will include finding the right houses, picking contractors to make high-yield renovations, and selling houses quickly and profitably.
