Loren Johnson, designated broker of Reid Property Management in Silverdale, has been elected 2008 chairman of the board of directors of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. Other new officers are Matt Deasy, vice chairman; Doug Davis, secretary; and Jeff Foster, treasurer. Member-brokers also elected four candidates to fill open positions on the board. Three incumbents, including Davis and Foster plus Dick Beeson, were elected to three-year terms. Valerie (Val) Schindler was also elected to a three-year term. Johnson is a 30-year resident of Kitsap County and a real estate licensee since 1976. He has held various leadership positions with the MLS since 2002, including secretary and treasurer. Deasy is with Windermere Real Estate. Davis is president and designated broker of Hallmark Realty Corp. in Kirkland. Foster is broker-manager of Advantage GMAC Real Estate in Moses Lake.
