New state law for condo conversions

OLYMPIA — State legislators passed a new law last week that increases the tenant notice period required for condo conversions and lets cities and counties raise the fees owners must pay for tenant relocation assistance.

Differences between House and Senate versions of the bill still need to be resolved.
