Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield said its world headquarters at 1290 Avenue of the Americas in New York received LEED gold certification. The building has a 30 percent reduction in water usage and a 25 percent reduction in lighting power density below ASHRAE standards. More than 75 percent of construction waste from the build-out was diverted from landfills and the furniture is made from more than 20 percent recycled content. An education plan will inform employees, clients and visitors about the sustainability measures.
