CBRE said 414 million square feet of properties it manages, including 10.6 million square feet in the Puget Sound region, participated in World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour 2011 last month. Earth Hour encourages cities, businesses, schools, organizations and individuals to turn out lights for one hour in a symbolic call for action on climate change. The company also won a federal Energy Star Sustain Excellence Award.
