Umpqua Bank

Umpqua Bank launched a commercial real estate division to expand its real estate presence in Oregon, Washington, California and Northern Nevada. It will provide construction lending, portfolio lending and interim real estate loans on income-producing properties. John Swanson has been promoted to senior VP and commercial real estate manager for the new division. He is based in Seattle and will report to Cort O'Haver, executive VP of commercial banking.
