MacFarlane Partners of San Francisco recently made its first Seattle acquisition: a half acre in South Lake Union where it plans to build 160 market-rate apartments.
MacFarlane is a real estate investment manager and developer focused on urban projects. It paid the Boris V. Korry estate $6.25 million for the site, which is at the southwest corner of Thomas Street and Eighth Avenue North.
