Albers Mill Lofts in Tacoma to be sold at auction Friday

Albers Mill Lofts opened in 2004, hailed as a brownfield success story. Anchorage-based Heritage Properties, with Grace Pleasants as a partner, spent nearly $10 million turning the mill into 36 apartments and commercial space.

The historic Albers Mill Lofts in Tacoma will be sold at a public auction Friday because the lender says the owner defaulted on a loan connected with the property.
