Astoria project may reduce city parking

ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) — Locals and visitors concerned about the loss of downtown parking spaces in Astoria have submitted a petition to city officials.

The 185 signatures oppose The Garden of Surging Waves and Heritage Square, a $3 million to $4 million project that seeks to make an outdoor town square for the community.
