GID buys land for 39-story tower

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Boston-based GID has completed a deal to purchase land for a 39-story apartment tower in the Denny Triangle.

The company bought the land at 2030 Eighth Ave. for $13.4 million, according to property records. Construction is expected to start next spring, with opening set for 2015.
