The Urban Land Institute Northwest will hold an event about the importance of renovating and reusing historic buildings at 7 a.m. June 19 at the Arctic Club Seattle at 700 Third Ave. The speaker is David J. Brown, executive vice president and chief preservation office for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He has more than 15 years of experience in redeveloping historic buildings.
