HomeStreet grows in California

Seattle-based HomeStreet Bank is opening six home loan offices in northern and central California. They will be in Sonoma, Fairfield, Napa, Elk Grove, Campbell and Carmel Valley. The bank opened its first California home loan office in February in Pasadena. HomeStreet is 92 years old, and it has 23 branches and 34 home loan offices in the Pacific Northwest, California and Hawaii. HomeStreet said it was the number one lender for mortgages in the Puget Sound region last quarter.
