Port of Everett promotes Whitaker

The Port of Everett named Brandon Whitaker project manager for Waterfront Place Central. Whitaker is now the port's environmental and safety specialist, and will move to the new role in 2015. He will manage design and construction for the waterfront, and the first phase of marina improvements. Sixteen projects priced at $67 million are planned. The goal is to make the waterfront more pedestrian-friendly. The first projects are slated to begin early next year.
