KIRKLAND — Claudio Guincher's Continental Properties is planning a five-story apartment building in downtown Kirkland.
Guincher said the project will have about 125 units and 12,000 square feet of retail space.
Last month an entity related to Continental Properties paid $12 million, or about $285 per square foot, for the land at 113 Third St.
Guincher said he has not chosen an architect or contractor yet.
Guincher has done several projects in Kirkland. According to Continental Properties' website, the company has 73 units under construction at Fourth Street and Central Way. That building is expected to be done this summer. The company website lists five other Kirkland housing projects that have been completed.
