Baseler named First Citizen

Ted Baseler, president and CEO of Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, is the 77th Seattle-King County Realtors First Citizen. Baseler is being honored for his contributions to the wine industry, higher education, medical care for children, economic development and tourism. There will be a banquet to celebrate Baseler May 28 at Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle. Speakers will include former Gov. Christine Gregoire, Seattle advertising executive Ron Elgin, Washington State University President Dr. Elson Floyd and Bob Betz, founder of Betz Family Winery.
