Tableau is leasing NorthEdge offices

SEATTLE — Tableau Software said it has signed a lease for all of the office space at NorthEdge, a four-story, 210,000-square-foot building near Gas Works Park that is under construction.

Touchstone is developing the building, which will open by mid 2016.

Perkins + Will is the architect and Lease Crutcher Lewis is the general contractor.

In a press release, Tableau said the space will accommodate more than 1,300 employees. The firm currently employs 1,200 in Fremont and Kirkland.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports Tableau has 150,000 square feet in Fremont and 24,000 square feet in Kirkland.

Tableau soon will take space in two other locations: 1000 N. Northlake Ave. and 701 N. 34th St.

Tableau recently agreed to take all the office space at 1441 N. 34th Street, where it has one floor already.

Tableau said it plans to keep growing in both Fremont and on the Eastside.
